ccHDtv Multi-channel Coaxial High-Definition Surveillance System
ccHDtv (High Definition Closed-Circuit Television) is a newly developed high-definition surveillance system solution. Its core concept is to utilize digital television technology to transmit high-definition (HD) video signals over coaxial cable, transmission strands, or even wirelessly. Through ccHDtv, multiple 1080p30 or 1080p60 video channels can be easily transmitted simultaneously and sequentially over a single traditional 5C2V/RG6 coaxial cable. Without a repeater, the transmission distance can reach up to 1000 meters (500 meters using 3C2V/RG59).
In the era of analog television, CVBS was the universal signal format and also the signal standard for analog surveillance systems (CCTV). Today, analog television is being replaced by digital television (DTV), which has become a global trend. DTV technologies such as DVB-T and ISDB-T ATSC and other standards are robust communication protocols ideally suited for high-definition video and audio transmission. Just as CVBS plays a crucial role in analog television, DTV technology plays a similar role. ccHDtv utilizes DTV technology, boasting exceptionally strong video and audio transmission capabilities. It not only overcomes the bandwidth bottleneck previously encountered in simultaneously transmitting multiple HD video channels within closed-circuit television systems, but also addresses the design challenges of storage devices. Its installation and operation are virtually identical to those of traditional CCTV systems, making HD surveillance systems significantly easier in terms of image transmission and back-end storage.
